Adults and Couples
Adults and Couples
My Adult clients include individuals, couples and families. I use Family Systems Therapy as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help persons “when life and love become difficult”!
My specialties are Anxiety Disorders such as Generalized Anxiety Disorders, Panic Attacks, OCD, and Phobias.
I am also adept at helping adults with Chronic Clinical Depression, Bi-polar Disorders and Single Episodes of Clinical Depression.
Couples therapy and family therapy is a part of what I offer as a licensed NC Marriage and Family Therapist. Families may include step-families or single parents. My family therapy may include children as well as adults.
I enjoy treating clergy, clergy families, and medical families. I am a minister and have a theology degree. I completed a three year residency in Pastoral Counseling at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital.
Children and Teens
Children and Teens
Children and adolescents have their share of ups and downs in their lives. They can experience difficulties in “life and love”.
Some of these downs and bumps in the road can lead to mental health issues such as anxiety disorders, panic attacks, bi- polar and depressive issues and ADHD, These are very treatable. I often treat Step-families and divorced families.
My forms of treatment are individual and family psychotherapy.
I utilize both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Family Systems Therapy for children ages 7 and up and adolescents. I make therapy fun for children and teens. Therapy games and rewards are utilized as a part of treatment.
"My faith and theological degree and background are additional resources for my clients.I have worked with the medical community for 30 years, having a three year residency in Pastoral Counseling at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital."
I welcome you to my new office and look forward to working with you and your children!
